“In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall make straight your paths.” (Mishlei 3:6)

TAL TORAH has invested years of creative, caring energy and expertise in developing its Bat Mitzvah program. As a result, TAL TORAH’s Bat Mitzvah program provides an educational experience that enriches the lives of the young women and their families and expands their horizons personally and spiritually within Torah and as Jews.

Time and again, once the Bat Mitzvah arrives and passes by, TAL TORAH hears the refrain from mothers and daughters, “Oh, if only we could keep learning together at TAL TORAH!” In response to such sentiments, TAL TORAH now offers our Teen program that includes a variety of mother-daughter learning opportunities, women’s Tefillah and chessed projects. Inter-generational learning at TAL TORAH has been successful in building and enhancing family relationships as well as encouraging Torah values and conversation in the home.

At TAL TORAH, we have set our vision on creating opportunities for meaningful Torah learning around the life cycle phases common to Jewish women: Bat MitzvahAdolescence , Marriage, Building a Jewish Home, Pregnancy and Birth, Becoming a Mother, Menopause and Meaning, and Bereavement. As the future unfolds, TAL TORAH’s vision is to develop curriculum and programming that will respond to each of these periods of change and transformation in a woman’s life. Each of these life stages invites, requires even, a woman to revisit, deepen, and perhaps adapt in her relationship to self, family, community and God. Many of the components of these programs are already in place, and as resources become available, TAL TORAH will complete and present each exciting new cycle-of-life program, creating a learning tapestry of Torah, tefillah, and chessed for each phase of a Jewish woman’s life.
